Burgundy or spruce resin spreads a pleasant woody scent. Spruce resin was probably the most important incense in Central Europe before the introduction of exotic resins. Today, it is mainly used for disinfection and cleaning of rooms. The smell of the resin is reminiscent of the scent of frankincense, pine and copal due to its sweet fragrance.
Also used for restauration of old wooden objects, such as antique furnitire, instruments and paintings on wooden panels.
